The renowned Italian tenor and owner of MY Libertas, a Vripack-designed Gamma 20 yacht, reflects on his experience with the studio and his love of sailing.
I love the way Vripack arranged the space on my boat so that our large extended family can get together and revel in our closeness and intimacy, while at the same time having the option of allowing each person their privacy. They talked me through every step of its creation, but it was only when I took it out to sea that I felt it with all my heart.

To satisfy its owner, a yacht must meet a multitude of very precise needs and make its occupants feel at ease at sea. It must comply with and express, both aesthetically and technically, the same priorities as those who live in it.
Cosiness, warm materials, low noise levels and my piano, these were my primary needs, and they have been fully met. I also asked for a solid, safe and comfortable boat, and that’s what they delivered.
A boat is no different from a house; it is a mirror of those that live in it, and the design of Libertas makes it feel like my home on water.
