Vripack is delighted to announce that Scintilla Maris has been shortlisted as a nominee for ‘Best Rebuild’ in the BOAT International World Superyacht Awards 2024.
Scintilla Maris is a 45.6-metre former fishing trawler with more than 30 years’ experience at sea. The four-year conversion project, for which Vripack undertook the interior design, turned her from a single-prop fishing trawler into a capable and competent explorer yacht.
The owner’s vision was three-fold; to create a home away from home with a go anywhere hull, go anywhere seaworthiness, and a beautiful yet functional Vripack-designed interior that brings light, space and comfort to the fore.
The 2023 conversion was completed at the yacht’s home shipyard of Damen Maaskant in the western Netherlands.
The 19th annual edition of the BOAT International World Superyacht Awards will return to Venice, Italy, on 3-4 May 2024.
The World Superyacht Awards recognise the ingenuity and craftsmanship of the most remarkable luxury yachts in the world. The globally acclaimed event, known for its credibility and prestige, is distinguished from all other yacht awards thanks to a judging panel comprising current and former superyacht owners.
