Back in 2016 DB-20 challenged themselves to create their very first carbon fiber propellor. Now, 5 years later, multiple teams have been racing with them in various races around Europe. Based on theoretical knowledge, prototyping, and lots of trial and error they’ve been able to create their own algorithms to design a propellor for them. By making use of rapid prototyping techniques, such as 3D printing molds, new ideas come to life very quickly.
