The intention of this brief journey through the world of foils is to establish what they are, what they can do for us as an industry and how we can collectively be better/smarter/wiser in using them. How do we educate not only ourselves but clients and interested parties. With such an increase in foil usage throughout the marine world, from surfboards to superyachts, we really should equip ourselves better in understanding the implications. So often it is easier to simply dismiss or deny the opportunities – hopefully, these few slides will open a few eyes and minds.
